Reflection: Getting Around

Reflection: More Festivals I Was Unaware Of...

As you could tell by reading my past press updates, the film Reflection (directed by Dan Dowding) has been going around the festival circuit quite a bit (IndieSpirit, Southside, ActionOn, etc).

Every time I see Dan, I get updates and news... but apparently not all the news! Just found out the film has been accepted and screened in multiple festivals I had been previously unaware of! Hopefully this is the last Reflection update, which successfully catches up the past to the present.

Official Selection of the Daytona Beach Film Festival 2008

Official Selection of FEAR Animation & Film Effects Festival 2008 (New Orleans)

Official Selection Victory Media Network 2009 (Dallas, TX)
(The 1st outdoor digital 'gallery' in the world, located in Victory Park)

Official Selection Foyle Film Festival 2009 (Northern Ireland!)
Official Selection Digital Media Festival 2009 (Online/Australia)

It's very exciting to see a film you worked on go to all these great festivals, but sad that I cannot accompany them. Dallas looked like an innovative and unusual way to watch a film, while I'd have loved to go to Northern Ireland for the Foyle Film Festival. I was just in Ireland about a month ago, and will be back for a documentary in about another month, but alas I'll be back in the States come November, when the festival begins.

I served as one of the two cinematographers on Reflection, along with Alex Winter with whom I've shot two other films with.
